Emergency Alerts – CodeRED
The Grass Valley Police Department, Grass Valley Fire Department,
and Nevada County Office of Emergency Services use the CodeRED
Emergency Alert System as the primary method of communication
during critical incidents. CodeRED is an opt-in notification
system, and these alerts can be received via text, email,
landline, cell phone, and TTY. Residents and visitors are
encouraged to subscribe to CodeRED to stay informed during
emergencies.
