Commission of Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST): Peace Officers Standards and Training (POST) The Grass Valley Police Department exceeds the standards set forth by both the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) and the academy. Here is a compiled list of courses completed by current Officers.

In addition to the above training, the Grass Valley Police Department also do conducts training through vendor programs using copyrighted materials. Copyright materials are not subject to disclosure under California Government Code section 6254(k).
